Volute Architects was founded in 2020 with a singular belief: that great architecture has the power to transform lives. Based in Pepsicola, Kathmandu, we are a multidisciplinary studio working across architectural design, interior design, and landscape architecture.

Our name — Volute — is drawn from the spiral scroll of the Ionic capital, a form that embodies the harmony of geometry and nature. It reflects our approach: rooted in classical principles, expressed through a contemporary lens.

Over the years, we have grown from a small studio into a team of dedicated designers, architects, and thinkers who share a common purpose — to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but deeply meaningful to the people who inhabit them.

Arun Shrestha

Principal Architect · Founder

With over 12 years of experience in architectural design, Arun leads the studio's creative vision. He holds a Master's in Architecture from Tribhuvan University and has led projects across Nepal and South Asia.

Sita Maharjan

Lead Interior Designer

Sita brings a refined sensibility to every interior project. Her work is characterized by a deep understanding of material, light, and the human experience of space. She has designed interiors for hotels, residences, and commercial spaces.

Bikash Gurung

Project Director

Bikash oversees project delivery from concept to completion. His expertise in construction management and client relations ensures every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.
